Who Should Attend ...?  Top

Everyone!  General admission is free--just show up!  Are you new to climbing?  Come see what its all about--you can watch seasoned climbers demonstrate different styles of climbing, or you can try out the ropes yourself.

Climbing for the General Public - on real stone - will be available all day long. (A small donation of $3 to defray cost is required.)  Climbing on the EMS artificial wall is available too.

Are you a rock star?  Speed-climbing competitions in several classifications will be held in the afternoon!  See How Do I Register for the Comp.

When is the ClimbFest ...?  Top

The ClimbFest will take place on Saturday, September 22.  Please view our Schedule of Events.  Please note that this schedule may be updated as the date draws near.

How Do I register for the Comp ...?  Top

Competition requires registration and a $20 entry fee. Competitors can register the morning of the event.  It helps to get there early! Because this is a speed comp, you can preview and practice the climbs in your skill category as much as you want before the comp starts.

What is the History of the Quincy Quarries ...?  Top

The Quincy Quarries (and there were many of them) played an important role in early American commerce.

See our Quarries History article

For example, the Quarries were the site of the Nations first commercial railroad.

Contact the Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts for more information on this interesting part of American History.
